What is Internet ?

“ इन्टरनेट एक विश्वव्यापी क्म्प्युटर नेटवर्क पर मौजूद सूचना वितरित करने तथा विभिन्न क्म्प्युटर यूजर्स के मध्य सहयोग व सम्पर्क का माध्यम है, जिसके द्वारा बिना किसी धर्म या देश के भेदभाव के सूचनाओ का आदान-प्रदान करना सम्भव है ।”
इन्टरनेट की कुछ अन्य परिभाषायें निम्न है -

• a global computer network providing a variety of information and communication facilities, consisting of interconnected networks using standardized communication protocols.
• The Internet is a global system of interconnected computer networks that use the standard Internet protocol suite (TCP/IP) to link several billion devices worldwide.
• The Internet is a large group of computers that are connected to each other. The Internet is used to send information quickly between computers around the world.
